Ranked Rewards ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our gamification platform integrated with Whop.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information from Whop

When you interact with a community using Ranked Rewards, we receive the following information from Whop:

  • Your Whop user ID
  • Your username and profile picture
  • Your membership status and payment history within the community
  • Email address (for account identification only)

2.2 Information We Generate

Through your use of communities with Ranked Rewards, we create and store:

  • Experience points (XP) and level progression
  • Daily login streaks and activity timestamps
  • Reward claims and redemption history
  • Achievement unlocks and badges earned
  • Leaderboard rankings

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide gamification features (XP, levels, rewards, achievements)
  • Display your progress on leaderboards
  • Track and maintain your daily streaks
  • Generate and deliver promotional codes for rewards
  • Provide analytics to community administrators
  • Improve and optimize our services

4. Data Sharing

We share your information with:

  • Community Administrators: They can see your username, XP, level, achievements, and activity within their community
  • Other Community Members: Your username, level, and rank may appear on public leaderboards
  • Service Providers: We use Supabase for data storage and Whop for authentication and payment processing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you are a member of communities using Ranked Rewards. When you leave a community or your membership expires, your data may be retained for up to 30 days for reactivation purposes, after which it may be anonymized or deleted. Reward point balances may expire according to community-specific policies.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured format
  • Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data

7. Your Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected about you
  • Know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed
  • Say no to the sale of personal information
  • Access your personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

Data Subject Request

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, please contact the community administrator where you are a member. They can process your request through their dashboard.

Community administrators can export or delete user data through the Ranked Rewards dashboard settings.
